I love coyotes! They figure prominently in Navajo traditions, and are plentiful in my northern wilderness (and occasionally roam into town). We have a coyote visitor to our 20 acre property and he gets along well with our horse (and even our chickens, until a weasel got all of them!). Thanks for taking us along pictorially on your walk; that was somehow wistful and poignant for me. In loving spirit, Eleanor
