Wow! Isn’t it incredible to consider the effort and resources it must have demanded to create such a place in the middle of the desert — in 1797?! It never ceases to amaze me what people can accomplish when they’re moved by a sense of purpose and faith. Thank you for conveying that with your beautiful images, Tom.

It is incredible. I’m not a church-goer, but there is a powerful spiritual presence at the Mission. I look forward to visiting again and attending a service.
